Washingtonian Top Doctor Facial Cosmetic Surgeon

Dr. Sohelia Rostami and Dr. Maryam Nazemzadeh have each been awarded a Top Doctor Facial Cosmetic Surgeon designation by Washingtonian Magazine.

While the annual Top Doctor list is organized and published by the magazine, provider recognition in based on peer recommendations.

Each year, nearly 13,000 physicians in the Washington area are given the opportunity to vote for a well-respected and trusted colleague in 39 specialties.

In order to complete the online voting process, each doctor must submit a current medical license number for DC, Maryland, or Virginia. They may only vote once and are not permitted to vote for themselves.

Once all submissions are tabulated, the top vote-getters in each specialty are awarded the Top Doctor designation.

Meet Dr. Sohelia Rostami – Washingtonian Top Doctor Facial Cosmetic Surgeon

Dr. Sohelia Rostami is a double board-certified oculo-facial cosmetic plastic surgeon with nearly 20 years of experience turning back the clock on aging. She is much sought-after for her precise technique and skill level in eyelid surgery, dermal filler and neurotoxin injections.

Dr. Rostami is a graduate of the Howard University School of Medicine in Washington DC. She completed her training for ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Maryland.

Dr. Rostami holds her board certifications with the American Board of Ophthalmology (FAAO), and serves on the Board of Trustees with the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery (ABFCS) & American Board of Cosmetic Surgery (ABCS).

Having performed thousands of cosmetic and medically necessary eyelid surgeries, Dr. Rostami is known as the surgical eye expert in northern Virginia and Washington, DC metro area.

She loves performing upper and lower blepharoplasties and ptosis correction to resolve peripheral vision issues and rejuvenate the area for a refreshed and rested appearance. She is also skilled in correcting eyelid anomalies and repairing orbital bone fractures and tissue damage from trauma.

Meet Dr. Maryam Nazemzadeh – Washingtonian Top Doctor Facial Cosmetic Surgeon

Dr. Maryam Nazemzadeh graduated at the top two percent of her class at The George Washington University, where she majored in Spanish Language and Literature.

She went on to obtain a medical degree at The George Washington University School of Medicine, where she graduated among the top of her class and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honors Society.

She completed her residency in ophthalmology at The George Washington University.

After finishing her residency, Dr. Nazemzadeh completed a two-year fellowship in cosmetic and reconstructive oculo-facial plastic surgery in the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at The University of Pennsylvania.
