The Ear Lobe Repair Procedure
Ear lobe repair is typically performed using local anesthesia. Dr. Rostami will review the specific techniques used during a consultation. Typically, it involves trimming away excess, stretched tissue and creating a new profile to the lobe. If you’ve experienced tearing, the two halves may be sutured back together. Dr. Rostami can use a variety of techniques based on your goals and needs.
Ear Lobe Repair Results
Ear lobe repair recovery is typically short. Dr. Rostami will provide detailed instructions for sleeping, bathing, and more. You can return to your daily activities within a day or two of your procedure. However, you should avoid intensive activities that could cause swelling. Dr. Rostami recommends waiting at least three months before re-piercing your ears.
