Am I A Good Candidate for Liquid Facelift?

The best candidates for a liquid facelift are patients who see signs of aging but aren’t yet ready for a surgical procedure. Typically, fine lines, wrinkles, and mild to moderate sagging skin are signs that a liquid facelift could benefit you. Hollow areas and areas of low volume can also be corrected with a liquid facelift.

Benefits of Liquid Facelift

The biggest benefit of a liquid facelift is that it requires no downtime or recovery. A traditional facelift can require weeks away from your daily schedule and uncomfortable side effects of healing. The liquid facelift can produce results within a few weeks and allow you to continue your regular activities. Some patients also like the subtle nature of the liquid facelift, which shows results gradually rather than all at once – preventing people from knowing you had anything done.

The Liquid Facelift Procedure

The liquid facelift is easily customizable but includes a couple key components.

Botox and Dysport

While Botox and Dysport are not fillers (they are mere muscle relaxers), they are a crucial component in the range of products used in a liquid facelift. The key is their ability to relax the muscles underneath wrinkles, which in turn relaxes and eliminates the wrinkles themselves.

Microneedling and Platelet-Rich Plasma Injections (PRP)

Microneedling (also known as collagen induction therapy or CIT) is a new innovation in aesthetic medicine that treats fine lines and acne scars and improves the skin’s overall appearance.

During this procedure, tiny needles create controlled micro-injuries to the skin to jumpstart the skin’s wound-healing mechanism and produce collagen and elastin. Microneedling also creates superficial micro-channels that can be used with platelet-rich plasma (PRP) to further boost collagen production within the skin.

Dermal Fillers and Radiesse

Dermal filler products used in a liquid facelift vary, but include hyaluronic acid-based ones such as Restylane, Juvéderm, and Voluma, or Radiesse, a calcium derivative collagen-enhancing product, or semi-permanent ones such as Bellafill and Sculptra.

Radiesse is a dermal filler that temporarily adds volume to help smooth moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds (the creases that extend from the corner of your nose to the corner of your mouth). Radiesse is unique because it can produce collagen in the treatment area, creating natural volume as the product fades.

Liquid Facelift Results

After a liquid facelift, patients notice an immediate “glow” to their skin. Visible changes to the skin develop over the course of several days and weeks. Results continue to improve up to 6 months after the treatment as collagen production continues. The results of a liquid facelift can last for a year or more with proper aftercare and anti-aging habits.

What is full facial balancing and how does it combine fillers and neurotoxins for natural-looking results?

Full facial balancing is a comprehensive, non-surgical approach to facial rejuvenation that uses a strategic combination of dermal fillers and neurotoxins to create symmetry, enhance features, and restore youthful proportions. Rather than focusing on one area of the face, this technique evaluates the face holistically to achieve subtle, natural-looking results.

Who is an ideal candidate for full facial balancing at Sanctuary Cosmetic Center?

Ideal candidates may have age-related volume loss, asymmetries, or concerns about fine lines and facial sagging. Whether you're in your 20s or 60s, facial balancing can be tailored to your anatomy and goals.

What is the difference between Botox, Dysport, Jeuveau, and Xeomin and Daxxify for facial balancing?

Botox is the most well-known neuromodulator and has a consistent, predictable effect. Dysport tends to spread more, which can be beneficial for areas like the forehead. Jeuveau, also known as “Newtox,” is formulated for aesthetic use and may work slightly faster. Xeomin is a “naked” version of botulinum toxin, making it a good choice for those with sensitivities or who may develop resistance. Daxxify is the new toxins that entered the market 2 years ago and it has peptides in it to make it kick in quicker and they claim it lasts longer.

Which dermal fillers are best for facial volume restoration?

Hyaluronic acid (HA) like Restylane family, RHA Family is ideal for soft, natural volume in the cheeks, lips, and under eyes; Radiesse offers firmer support and is often used for jawline , cheek and hands enhancement. Sculptra provides gradual and long-lasting volume improvement for temples and mid-face rejuvenation as well as its widely used for Liquid butt lifts, and Renuva offers long-term correction, often used in acne scarring or deeper facial folds. Your injector will determine the ideal combination based on your facial anatomy and treatment goals.

How long do results from a full facial balancing procedure with fillers and neurotoxins typically last?

The longevity of full facial balancing results depends on the types of products used and your individual metabolism. Neurotoxin results (such as Botox or Dysport) typically last 3 to 4 months, while hyaluronic acid fillers like RHA or Restylane may last 6 to 18 months depending on the area treated. Biostimulatory fillers like Sculptra can last up to two years or longer with proper maintenance.

What areas of the face can be enhanced with a non-surgical liquid facelift or liquid rhinoplasty?

A liquid facelift targets multiple facial areas using fillers and neurotoxins to lift, contour, and rejuvenate without surgery. Common areas treated include the cheeks, temples, jawline, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, lips, and under-eye hollows. A liquid rhinoplasty specifically enhances the shape and contour of the nose by smoothing bumps and lifting the nasal tip without altering the bone structure.

Are there any risks or side effects associated with facial balancing treatments like under-eye filler or liquid lower eyelid blepharoplasty?

Yes, like any aesthetic procedure, facial balancing treatments carry some risks. Common side effects include temporary swelling, bruising, redness, or tenderness at the injection site. rnUnder-eye fillers or liquid lower eyelid blepharoplasty require advanced technique and knowledge of facial anatomy due to the thin, delicate skin in that area. Improper placement can lead to puffiness or lumps.

How do non-surgical facial rejuvenation options like Renuva or Instalift threads complement facial balancing treatments?

Renuva and Instalift threads can enhance the results of facial balancing by targeting different aging mechanisms. Renuva is an injectable that promotes fat regeneration in volume-depleted areas, creating a natural, long-lasting result. Instalift threads provide mechanical lifting and stimulate collagen production, helping to redefine the jawline, lift sagging cheeks, or tighten the neck.

What should I expect during a consultation for full facial balancing at Sanctuary Cosmetic Center?

During your consultation at Sanctuary Cosmetic Center, our team will assess your facial anatomy, skin quality, and cosmetic concerns. The discussion will focus on your goals, previous treatments (if any), and how facial balancing can be customized for your unique features.

Can you combine different types of fillers and neurotoxins for customized facial balancing results?

Combining different fillers and neurotoxins is often essential for achieving a balanced, natural result tailored to your facial structure. Each product has specific strengths, such as a softer filler for lips, a firmer one for the jawline, and a collagen-stimulating product for the temples. Your injector will customize your treatment using a blend of advanced techniques and products to sculpt and refresh your appearance with precision and artistry.
